Our Roots

Sue Poeschl has dedicated her life to spreading joy and excitement through the power of cheerleading. Sue paved her way in cheerleading through coaching at the high school level before becoming a collegiate coach. In her work, she found the need for a fun and affordable cheer camp for the younger generation of cheerleaders, leading her to create Central Wisconsin Cheer Camps in 1980. The safe, fun, and encouraging learning environment earned CWCC a spot in the WACPC Hall of Fame in 2023.
